We ask that you ACKNOWLEDGE the ancestors of this land, the Dharawal speaking people.
We are grateful that they cared for these lands, From the tall Eucalypts, To the Gymea Lily, And Deeban – the waterways of Port Hacking surrounding us.
We pay our respects to the great artist who engraved on the rocks, Buri Buri – the whale, Buru – kangaroo, And Dhan – fish, And we look up to the Kirrawee, the sulphur crested cockatoos, Who still fly over our school.
We also pay our respects to our elders, Both past and present amongst us, As they hold the stories, Traditions and Knowledge.
We invite all people to learn, Flourish And achieve, As they journey through our school,
Kirrawee High School.
Kirrawee High School is grateful to our local businesses who support the School in so many different ways. Please help by Supporting them.

The Signature Strengths of the Kirrawee High School Community were developed following a comprehensive journey initiated by our student leadership groups (Prefects, SRC, Social Justice Council, Sustainability & Environmental Committee, and White Ribbon Ambassadors). The Signature Strengths are communicated across the school, with classroom signs acting as conversation starters between teachers and students.
As the name suggests, the Signature Strengths of the Kirrawee High School Community are for our entire community! The intention of the Signature Strengths is to be far more meaningful and dynamic than mere rules: In the classroom, they are our expectations.
