SRC Wellbeing Initiatives
The 2021 SRC Team organised the SRC Wellbeing Week during Week 9 Term 3. We organised daily wellbeing messages to promote: a healthy body and mind. Along with, daily activities that included: KAHOOTs, Online TRIVIA, and the SRC Art Competition “Thankful”.
We also focused on RU OK Day on Thursday 9th September. We shared resources about the purpose of this important initiative, and how to provide effective support, through strategies to: reach out, listen, and connect.
The SRC Wellbeing Week has been an important annual event for our school, and during lockdown and the current challenging times, we were keen to run our wellbeing event to motivate, support and uplift. We look forward to more wonderful SRC events for our school community, either online during remote learning, or face-to-face when we return to school.
Have a look at the video below about this year’s SRC Wellbeing Week, and refer to some of the wonderful Art Work produced by our students for the “Thankful” SRC Art Competition. The submission date for this art competition is 17/9/21. We have already received many superb artwork submissions, including one that the school posted earlier, by one of our students in Year 7 who used it as a lovely gratitude message to the school.
We wish our school community a very happy holiday.
