Sydney East Representation

It is a been a very busy start to the term with four CHS State Championships being held with Kirrawee students representing Sydney East at all four.

During week 1 Rory Cole of Year 9 represented Sydney East in AFL.  His team went through undefeated and Rory was selected in the Sydney Brumbies team to compete at the NSW All School Championships.

On the weekend of the 4/5 May, Charly Lloyd of Year 9 represented Sydney East in Touch.  THE CHS carnival was held in Wollongong.  Charly was also selected in the open team to compete later this term.

During Week 2 Brooke Elliot of Year 9 represented Sydney East in Girls Rugby.  The carnival was held at Merrylands.  Brooke played teams from all the Sydney Metropolitan Regions.

Also During Week 2 Olivia Eason of Year 11 and Emma Smith and Yasmine Kell of Year 10 represented Sydney East at the  CHS Netball Championships held in Menai.

Congratulations to Rory, Charly, Brooke, Oliva, Emma and Yasmine – fantastic sporting representatives of Kirrawee High competing at their respective school State Championships.  All Sydney East Representatives will receive a Distinction Certificate from the school at the Term 2 Recognition Assembly.
