Welcome to 2019 Term 1 The whole school community welcomes Year 7 to Kirrawee High. This term is already lining up to be a busy one so, please make sure you regularly check the school website and that each parent has logged in Sentral Parent Portal.

Deck the halls with boughs of holly fa la la la la, la la la la From the entire staff at Kirrawee High we wish our large school community the very best of holiday seasons. We trust you will enjoy the special moments that Christmas and down-time brings to embrace and delight in family and friends.
Term 4 Weeks 7 & 8
The penultimate Newsletter for 2018 and with all programs coming to a finale, there is plenty going on at Kirrawee High! The Annual Art Exhibition and Madiba Project are must reads.
Term 4 Weeks 5 & 6
Squarely in the middle of term and activity continues apace. It is hard to go past the splendour of the Schools Spectacular and the contribution from so many Kirrawee students to this mammoth event.
Term 4 Weeks 3 & 4
Eclipsing any sense of just a fortnight, so much has unfolded since the last Newsletter. The significance of two events may help explain the larger moments we have all recently felt.
Term 4 Weeks 1 & 2
It has been an excellent start to Term 4 with many activities or initiatives up and running. We encourage you have a look at the four episodes of Road to Spec now broadcast through the Schools Spectacular Facebook and linked below.
Term 3 Weeks 9 & 10
The final edition for Term 3 and a most joyous last few weeks we have all shared. I would encourage everyone to have a look at the Student Leadership Induction Ceremony and Year 12 Graduation.
Term 3 Weeks 7 & 8
It has been one of the best fortnights just passed, full of exciting stories and the full breadth of student achievement. Just some of the great highlights were the superb talent of the Boys’ Oztag team who are now State Champions, a packed house for a memorable night with the Jazz Orchestra and James Morrison, a stunning iEntrepreneur Team who provided a most innovative pitch to the Minister and audience, and a tremendous effort in the Regional Debating Final!
Term 3 Weeks 5 & 6
It has been an uplifting fortnight to say the least, from the classroom to the many co-curricula stories that collectively speak to the culture at Kirrawee High. As a reflection of the Kirrawee graduate, I highly recommend you read the One Girl initiative from School Captain, Chelsea Hendra; it has rightly galvanised our school community.
Term 3 Weeks 3 & 4
Heading toward mid-term and student activities show no sign of slowing down. Please take a look at the great achievements under Classroom Learning and reserve a place in calendars for Morrison Night and the Trivia for Toilets later in the term.
Term 3 Weeks 1 & 2
Wonderful to be back and report on the way in which students have grasped so many opportunities to test themselves, push boundaries, and enjoy the thrill of personal achievement. Welcome back to Term 3, one in which we host the incomparable James Morrison, celebrate the 30 Year Anniversary of the Kirrawee-Komae exchange, and will end in the emotion and cameraderie of Year 12 saying farewell.
