Year 10 PASS Sports Administration

To continue our excellent relationship with Gymea Bay Public School our students were more than happy to again volunteer their expertise to officiate this time at the GBPS Athletics Carnival on Tuesday 11 June at the Sylvania Waters Athletics Track.

Year 10 PASS students assisted in the running of the carnival both as time keepers for track events and officials on long jump.  Participation in races is always great and the KHS student were kept very busy working all day.  Our students skills in officiating have been developed through their work in the Sports Administration Unit in Year 10 PASS.

GBPS Sport Organiser Mrs Wever has reported their assistance was invaluable and behaviour brillant.  It is fantastic, but no surprise to hear such great reports of our students out in the community.  These students were selected by Year 10 PASS teachers due to the tremendous efforts, skills and initiatives they displayed at the KHS Athletics Carnival and during PASS classes.

Well Done to Emma Smith, Hayley Smith, Toby Hummerston, Tess Curtis, Kyra Andrew, Lily Dempsey, Yasmine Kell,  Jasmin Lawler, Anna Elyard, Nelson Howard, Meg Napper, Eve Way and Zoe – such wonderful role models for the students of GBPS and KHS.
