Kirrawee High School Commemorates ANZAC

Today Kirrawee High School took the opportunity to commemorate ANZAC Day. Our service was led by our amazing school Captains Thomas Duff and Hayley Smith. Danika Bailey and Tahlie Gavin gave us an inspiring rendition of not only “I am, you are, we are Australian” but also the Australian Anthem.

A big thank you to Alex Butler who played the ‘Last Post’ for the service, our wreath layers Tiago Olival and Kate Hummerston and the students who raised the flags, Nora Davies and Olivia Mustapic. I would also like to thank Mrs Morton for the fantastic organisation, Ms Lacey and the music faculty for supporting the service and Mrs Houlahan and Barden for their assistance. Truly a whole school effort to commemorate the ANZAC spirit.
