The Visual Arts teachers have been proud of the creative works submitted into our google classrooms, we would like to showcase a mini exhibition from our junior classes.
Year 7 created colour wheels using objects from inside their home, then ventured into their gardens to sculpt amazing environmental pieces inspired by the works of Andy Goldsworthy.
Year 8 looked at the fantasy art of Surrealism to draw and paint their own hands. Continuing on with fantasy, they drew detailed and clever pirate maps to show their own lives.
Year 9 submitted Graphic Designs Skateboard clothing to wear on the skateboards they were making at school.
Year 10 took photos to make grid drawings in the topic of Textures and Surfaces, which they expanded into paper collages.
Marking and viewing the work of our talented and hardworking students has made the lockdown art classroom both enjoyable and often spectacular for both the students and their teachers.
We can’t wait to see you all back in the classroom.
