Year 10 Commerce Excursion

Event Date: 15/03/2019 - 15/03/2019

A Commerce excursion has been arranged for Year 10 classes to Downing Centre District Court. This excursion will help students gain an understanding of the role and jurisdiction of courts in NSW. Students will be spoken to by a Barrister and then proceed to visit the court rooms.

Students are to meet at Kirrawee Train Station at 7.10am and will then travel with Mr Yu to Town Hall station and walk to the Downing Centre as a group. The only cost of the excursion is the train fare or other transport costs to & from the venue. Students must use their own OPAL card, not a school issued one. Students can either bring their recess and lunch or purchase it from local shops.

At the conclusion of the excursion, students will travel back to Kirrawee train station with the teacher Mr Yu, and will be dismissed from here at approximately 2.56pm.

This excursion is being conducted with permission from the Principal.
