Stage 5 Engineering

Event Date: 11/12/2019 - 11/12/2019

Students will travel to Jamberoo Action Park to study the real-world applications of engineering structures and mechanics of a waterpark. These applications will be discussed in subsequent lessons.

All students attending MUST be identified by their parents as PROFICIENT swimmers. The cost for the event is $67 to be paid no later than 20 November.

Students should arrive at school by 8 a.m. on Wednesday 11 December and will travel by bus. We will return to school by 3 p.m. Mr Punzet, Mrs Sercombe and Mr Zietsch will provide general supervision at the park in addition to staff trained by Royal Life Saving NSW.

Students are to bring KHS sport uniform, shoes suitable for a waterpark and swimming equipment including a towel. Students should bring a hat and sunscreen.

Students must make a genuine effort to catch up any school work missed as a result of attending this excursion.
