Stage 5 Engineering – Jamberoo Action Park

Aim: To investigate the real-world applications of engineering materials and forces. A worksheet will be completed on the day.

Venue: Jamberoo Action Park.

Transport: Private coach

Time: 8 a.m. on Thursday December 10, 2020. We will return to school by 3 p.m

Cost: $80 to be paid no later than November 20, 2020.

Supervising Teachers: Mr Punzet, Mr Zietsch, Mr Elliot, Ms Saare and Mrs Sercombe will provide general supervision at the park in addition to staff trained by Royal Life Saving NSW.

Equipment Required: Students should bring a hat and sunscreen. They should bring food to eat on the day or money to purchase food from the venue. Students will need a pen, pencil and a phone (or similar device) to complete the learning activities.

What to wear: Students are to wear KHS sport uniform, swimwear and shoes suitable for a waterpark, and swimming equipment including a towel.

Students must comply with the venue’s COVID-safe plan and teachers’ instructions.

Students must make a genuine effort to catch up any school work missed as a result of attending this excursion.
