Senior Geography Cronulla Fieldwork

Aim/Reason for Excursion: Students will be investigating the processes which have created and continue to shape Cronulla’s coastal sand dunes as well as document management strategies. This forms part of their Ecosystems at Risk unit for their HSC and is part of their mandatory fieldwork requirements.

Venue: Cronulla Coastal Beaches

Transport: Students will meet at 9:00am at Cronulla Train Station. They will make their own way to the meeting location.

Time: 9:00am start and finish time will be 1:30pm

Cost: N/A

Supervising Teachers: Mr David Proctor

What to bring/Equipment Required: Sunscreen,pen, clipboard or sturdy book, Water bottle and lunch/snacks. There may be an opportunity to purchase some food on the day.

What to wear: Sun smart clothing – hat, pants, long sleeve shirt, sturdy walking shoes.

Students must make a genuine effort to catch up any school work missed as a result of attending this excursion.
