French Immerson Program

Event Date: 13/12/2019 - 13/12/2019

The French Immersion Program is between KHS and Grays Point Primary School. The aim of this program is to provide elite KHS students in the Year 9 French class with leadership opportunities to mentor selected primary school students. The program will run on Fridays for 4 sessions once a week at Grays Point Primary School. Each session will run for 30 minutes, organised by Ms Botros and supported by KHS students participating in the program. For this term, our special program is offered for three KHS students based on their elite progress in French, and their outstanding conduct. We will be travelling by a Taxi from KHS to Grays Point School, with the teacher. KHS will cover the travelling cost for this term. There is no cost required from students. They are required to wear full school uniform. Here are the times the program will be on each Friday starting on 22 November and ending on 13th December:

Friday 22/11, 6/12 – Week B – Period 4: Students to meet Ms Botros at 12:28pm in A block, we will return by 1:15pm to KHS and students are required to return to class.

Friday 29/11, 13/12 – Week A – Period 5: Students to meet Ms Botros at 1:50pm in A block, we will return by 2:40pm to KHS and students are required to return to class.

Students will be supervised by Ms Botros at all times. Students must make a genuine effort to catch up any school work missed as a result of attending this program.
